The Mondeor Sector 2 Community Camera Project is a resident-funded initiative aimed at securing the entry and exit points of our neighborhood. Through the strategic placement of License Plate Recognition (LPR) and high-definition CCTV cameras, we are building a formidable digital perimeter.
This project has already proven its value by providing critical evidence to SAPS and assisting local security companies in tracking suspicious vehicles flagged on the national database. However, this network requires continuous monthly funding to keep operations running smoothly.
What Your Monthly Contribution Covers
- Monthly SIM data and connectivity fees for live 24/7 monitoring transmission
- Routine maintenance, cleaning, and repositioning of camera lenses
- Server hosting and secure cloud storage for high-definition footage retention
- Progressive expansion of the network into uncovered residential side streets
